Bishop of the Ninth Seat, Kolinia, had a thought.

Her constant attempts to talk her way out of things were admittedly annoying, but even that level of resistance would no doubt prove useful to Him.
For a brief—very brief—moment, he did feel like killing her on the spot.
But through sheer force of will, he suppressed the urge.
After placing the mask on the girl’s face, Kolinia turned to approach another student while waiting for her to fully accept it.
“Haaah... ha...”
The child stood in despair—
Overwhelmed by terror and steeped in sorrow, gazing at the girl suffering in the distance.
“Pitiful. So pitiful and tragic.”
