Chapter 283
The Core suddenly appeared out of nowhere, giving birth to various creatures that thrived there, including the dragons. Life, culture, economy, and etiquette in the Core were vastly different from those on Earth.
Karsiel, who had settled into Do-Jun’s home with Yoon-Hee’s help, first sought out the knowledge necessary to survive on Earth. After separating the trash from the recyclables and doing some simple cleaning, she sat primly in front of the TV, watching a documentary.
⌜Abrasives remove plaque and debris from teeth, and fluoride disinfects the surface...⌟
Documentaries, filled with useful information about Earth, had quickly become her favorite TV genre.
“Hmm, noted,” she said, jotting it down.
She always took notes in her notebook to retain the knowledge she gained. These small pieces of information could sometimes prove crucial for survival on Earth.
After about an hour of watching TV, it was soon 10 AM. It was time for Yong-Yong and Byeol to wake up, which meant she needed to prepare breakfast. Karsiel got up from her seat, opened the fridge, and checked the ingredients.
All she found were spinach, bean sprouts, eggs, and kimchi. Her eyes narrowed slightly. She didn’t mind eating whatever was available, but the problem was Yong-Yong and Byeol.
Karsiel opened a book she had bought during her last visit to the bookstore: The Veteran Mom’s Guide to Raising Kids. She turned to the bookmarked section, “How to Handle Picky Eaters,” and quickly reread it, even though she had already gone through it once before.

Byeol blinked, wondering what was going on. There wasn’t a trace of meat anywhere on the table. Yong-Yong looked just as confused.
Having already anticipated their reactions, Karsiel scooped up a big spoonful of rice, placed spinach and bean sprouts on top, and brought it to Byeol’s lips. However, Byeol leaned back slightly.
