The Magic Academy's Physicist

Chapter 100: If Only Doubt Could Turn Into Trust

After barely escaping Aether, Akasha stopped to catch her breath as she looked around the western mountainside.

“This should be far enough.”

The terrain was rather rugged for the foot of a mountain, the slope so steep that not a single human could be seen. Sighing in relief, Akasha found an appropriate rock and plopped onto it.

Now that she was out of the fire, her clever mind combed through what had occurred. Akasha recalled the earlier conversation with her sister.

“I didn’t think she’d still ask for my exclusive magic even without her memories....”

Before she lost her memories, her sister would passionately engage in thaumaturgical studies. It was to the point that she even attempted to make a scroll of her Legendary Magic.

There wasn’t any great purpose to it; it was just for fun.

Akasha once tried to copy her sister and put her magic into a scroll as well. Originally, Legendary Magics weren’t supposed to be made into scrolls to preserve their rarity, but it didn’t matter to these naive girls at the time.

The product of that effort was what she’d handed to her sister earlier–the unfinished construction circle of ‘White Night’.

“We were like that once.”

Looking back on it now, it had been a meaningless effort. Being able to use that magic and making it into something that could be used by others were two completely different things.
