Just as the Shadow Witch had said when she visited the mansion before, I was preparing myself for the teleportation—only for the invitation in my hand to slip free and fly straight toward Meredia.

I lunged to grab it, but just before my hand could reach it, my vision twisted, and the space around me changed entirely.

For a moment, panic gripped me at the thought of Meredia—who utterly despises black magic—reading that letter. But I quickly realized that wasn’t the real issue, and I forced myself to focus.
“So this is where the Shadow Gathering takes place...”
To be honest, I had no idea where the headquarters of the Shadow Union was, or where their gatherings were actually held. In the original game, every meeting of the Shadow Union executives was shown only through cutscenes.
