Hoping to quell the flames raging in her heart, Ariel downed the cool drink but winced at the strong aftertaste.
Now it felt like even her insides were burning.
“Ugh...Th-This is really strong...What kind of drink is this?”
“I’m not sure Lady Ariel, I merely asked the owner for his strongest spirit.”
Even Rachel, who only dabbled in small amounts of sweet wine, winced a bit as she sipped the drink.
“Shall I ask for a weaker drink?”
“N-No...Let’s just drink it. I think this is making me feel a bit better...”
And so, the drinking session between the two Rivals began.
With their temporary truce, they filled each other’s cups as they shared their sorrows.
“Hic...You’re sho much prettier than...ish not fair...”
