Chapter 74: Lugan Village (5)
“I’ve never seen such a bizarre snowstorm.”
“......Me too.”
Elden and Ariel took refuge in a nearby cave as they shook the snow off of themselves.
The sky was clear when they began climbing the mountain, but it soon turned ash-gray, and as they sought the next marker halfway up, a fierce blizzard started raging.
While they were almost reaching their destination, Elden worried that such a sudden blizzard might endanger Ariel, so they sought refuge in a small cavern.
Having explored the northern wilderness for the last few months, both could see that this blizzard appeared to be a fleeting one.
If they waited it out a few hours, the blizzard would cease, allowing them to reach the cave by evening.
Since Lumia was not in a critical condition, there was no need to take unnecessary risks.
Whoosh-!
Watching the fierce blizzard blowing outside the cave entrance, Elden said,
“It’ll pass soon. Let’s just wait a bit.”
