When he opened his eyes, Baek Yu-Seol found himself standing in the middle of a hallway at Stella Academy.
'Huh?'
He slowly turned his head to look out the window, where the soft glow of the setting sun streamed in, softly illuminating the corridor.
'What the... What was I just doing?'
As he struggled to recall, fragments of memory began to surface—Dusk Soil Moon flashed through his mind.
Right, he had been observing Dusk Soil Moon.
He had been watching as he used Soft Green Spring Moon's divine artifact, and for the first time since his birth, he gained the essence of life. But then, swept up in the overwhelming waves of life force, Baek Yu-Seol lost consciousness and came face-to-face with his 'inner self.'
Or perhaps, another version of Baek Yu-Seol.
Faint memories of a long conversation with that self surfaced... a conversation held in a PC cafe constructed within his subconscious. Later, they had moved to a hill under a starlit sky, where he watched yet another version of himself vanish into the stars.
'But then, why am I here?'
Taking a step forward, he became aware of a heavy sensation enveloping his body.
