As soon as I sensed that something akin to offensive magic was rushing towards me, I activated Flash and teleported to the top of a tree.
Tung! Something similar to a Light Bullet flew past me, teasing my hair strands, and disappeared after crashing into a nearby tree.
I looked at Edna who was lying on the floor, drenched in cold sweat.
"Do you have any reason to kill me?"
Mana Accumulation Retardation's level had recently increased, and it could now detect mana fluctuations from eighteen metres away, so I wiped away the cold sweat, thinking that I almost got into trouble.
While mages enchanted their bodies with thin layers of defensive magic, I did not have any of that.
'Besides, the Light Bullet is scary.'
Wasn't it too much for someone at a student level? In magic society, a 17-year-old magician was called a 'genius' even if he used only Class 2 magic skill.
But, in Stella, it was nothing out of the ordinary. First-year students were already using Class 2 magic skill freely, and students who excelled, such as Edna, were dealing with Class 3 magic skills.
It was best not to deal with light-attribute magic, which was quick and promised a scary offensive power. It was good at healing too.
'But now I have two Flash left, so if I can use the terrain well, I'll be able to deal with her to some extent...'
