Chapter 175: Little Thing, Playing the Victim Again
Bella Woods looked into Ashton Marshall’s eyes, feeling a bit frightened. She wanted to get off him, but Ashton held her waist, pulling their bodies closer.
He stared at her, "Did the deed and now you want to run?"
"It’s late. I just want to sleep," Bella’s eyes dodged, trying to find an excuse.
"Oh, you’re getting ready to sleep?" Ashton deliberately followed her words.
Bella quickly nodded, "I thought, since you came back from work so late, you must be tired too. Hurry and take a shower, then rest. Don’t wear yourself out."
As she spoke, she quietly struggled to leave Ashton’s embrace.
But the man seemed to see right through her little thoughts. He didn’t expose her, just looked at her with that straightforward smile, like watching a performance she was putting on.
Every time Ashton looked at her like this, Bella felt as if she was completely seen through.
"Are you resting or not?" She suddenly got a bit angry.
"So fierce?" Ashton’s hand caressed Bella’s lower back, pinching it lightly, right on her soft spot, making her instinctively shrink back.
