Mo Yan touched her numb cheek, dazed as she watched the Nine Heavens Divine Lightning recede into the distance, feeling as if she was dreaming: Was this how the thunder tribulation simply passed by?

"Xuetuanzi..." Mo Yan called out anxiously with her eyes still closed. Aside from Xuetuanzi, who was undergoing the tribulation, she couldn’t think of anyone else in this cleared area that would cause such an abnormality.
Before the tribulation, Xuetuanzi hadn’t specified what kind of mystical phenomenon would occur during its transformation. The occurrence of this anomaly made her heart flip, even more worried and nervous than when Xuetuanzi faced the Divine Lightning.
Yet, Mo Yan couldn’t afford to open her eyes to see for herself, and after a lengthy silence with no response, she called out to Xuetuanzi in her mind again, still receiving no sign in return.
Unable to do anything else, nor convince herself to just wait idly, she used the direction from which the golden light had originated to slowly grope her way closer.
Although the golden light had appeared quite abruptly, aside from being blinding, it was not causing any other issues.
How could the Six Beasts sit idly by and let Mo Yan venture into danger alone? They followed her closely, encircling her just as before, ready to protect her from any danger that might arise.
