Chapter 4: TESTING POWER

In the heart of the grand capital of Velmora, inside the Royal Awakening Stadium, all eyes were fixed on the large blue flame burning in the center of the platform.
It was the day of the Awakening Ceremony — a sacred ritual where young nobles awakened their magic talent.
Right now, standing confidently in front of the flame was the first prince, Christopher Zadberg.
Tall, handsome, and already famous for his sword skills, Christopher placed his hand on the flame as the Royal Mage spoke loudly,
"Place your palm and show the world your destiny."
The moment his hand touched the flame, something strange happened — the water fountain above the stadium changed color. It turned from its normal blue to a deep red, and the water level dropped slightly.
Gasps filled the stadium.
Then, one of the three Royal Mages stood up, eyes wide, and shouted,
"Prince Christopher has awakened the Absorber Talent!"
The crowd erupted into cheers.
