My Mansion of Gorgeous Maids in Another World

Chapter 57: Bob

Because the bone claw was so huge, the corridor leading to one of the wicked dragon’s tombs gaped like the mouth of an earth monster. Jett and his maids calmly walked inside and did not even flinch at all when the coldness flowed through them. Soon, the cavernous tomb unfolded before them, sprawling so vast that there was a seemingly bottomless area in front of them. Here, Jett saw an undead creature rising onto four skeletal legs. Its bone wings sprawled wide and scraped the cave, scarring it.

"Here you are, Warden! I am grateful you did not cause me any problems and walked into the tomb of this bastard! I’ll make you rest alongside him after I kill you!" the dragon barked.

"What are you talking about? Sound less confusing, okay?" Jett tilted his head.

The dragon’s bone jaw lifted close to the ceiling as he announced, "Those bones belong to my mortal enemy I refused to acknowledge in life! Now that I can assimilate my soul with them and even cultivate flesh, I will use this body to erase that bastard’s lineage first and foremost! Only you stand between that goal, Warden!"

Everything became clearer after those words. This wicked soul could now assimilate with the bones of a foreign dragon and return to life through them. Worse, the Harbinger could even allow for some flesh cultivation that would entirely bring this man back to life. It was only possible because of those catacombs and dragons’ unique bodies, yet it was terrifying how much she could twist death and life.

Noctlisa stifled a laugh when she heard the entire story.

Jett and the undead dragon looked at her.

"What’s so funny, dullahan spawn?" the dragon asked.

"You’re just cannon fodder the Harbinger used to keep my Master busy here for a few minutes, if not seconds. You proudly declared everything, but in the end, you’re just a bug waiting to be squashed under Master’s sole, like the seeds of the Harbinger," Noctlisa sneered.

The dragon, though he didn’t have eyes, glared so hard at Noctlisa it seemed he wanted to shatter her bones with his stare alone.

Eleonora chimed in, "I agree. That said, this dragon is still a problem. Left alone, he will wreak havoc in these catacombs and possibly free himself. If he leaves this place, Master’s reputation will be tarnished. We must deal with him swiftly."
