My Mansion of Gorgeous Maids in Another World

Chapter 32: They believe in his guts!

Jett sat in his chair, his composure absolute. Only the sudden descent of a Dragon Goddess into his Summoning Chamber could disrupt his focus; his serious expression made the air weigh heavy, and no one dared to breathe loudly. Yet beneath that stern façade, Jett wasn’t as serious as he seemed.

So this guy just wants to fuck his women? Kinda feels familiar...

Skytianeus faced a crisis: dragon slayers threatened his family, yet he couldn’t bring them to the Dragon Mountain’s summit. Descending would draw more attention to both him and his kin, endangering not just his lineage but all dragons. Even other dragons sought his head, and rigid guardian rules rarely allowed an early intervention. Jett knew those rules well from Mia.

He’s in deep shit. Can’t really relate, but it’s exactly why I stay low-key.

Jett compared himself to the sky dragon. If his mansion were attacked, he and his maids would defend it—but he had no allies outside. Calling in elves or dullahans would only open him up to political games.

"I get where you’re coming from. I’m still finding my feet in this world, so give me a moment to think it over. I’ll give you my answer soon—hang tight," Jett said.

"I am grateful for your counsel, Lord Warden," Skytianeus bowed and vanished through the central circle.

After the dragon disappeared, Jett rolled his tongue and licked his lips as he sank deeper into his chair. "All this formal talk makes my tongue stiff," he muttered. "Heroes, dragon slayers, and dragons all in my first delegation... I never saw that coming. What do you think, Mia? Noctlisa? Are we doing this?"

Mia remained silent and glanced at Noctlisa, who took the cue and faced her master.

"No freakin’ clue, Master," Noctlisa said. "From a battle-junkie’s vantage, I’d hold back. We haven’t honed our teamwork, and your clouds won’t last long beyond the manor walls. Your mana well runs shallow for drawn-out fights, and dragons and slayers alike will press their advantage. That is all, Master."

"I am in accord with Noctlisa’s assessment, Master Jett. Though your abilities are formidable, they exhaust your mana swiftly. Dragons by nature vie for supremacy, and humans often covet what they cannot govern—many would seek to usurp the Warden Mansion. Yet the greatest concern is that you bear the title of Warden without storied deeds to command respect."
