"Penelope, it’s been a long time." A young man greeted. He’s the only one who had gathered enough courage to approach her since the night began.
One look at him, and Penelope wanted to punch his guts. She had no idea why this man was talking to her after all of the despicable things he said to her.
Penny pulled her hands from his grip and was about to leave when he stopped her again.
"Come Pen. Don’t walk away. I know I haven’t been the best person to you, and I should be the last person speaking to you, but is it too late to ask for forgiveness?" He asked calmly.
Peter never spoke this calmly, at least not to her.
What happened to all the fat shaming and body shaming? How about all of the curses he layed on her just because Christian introduced her as his girlfriend.
Peter had been brutal that day. He showed no mercy to her. Thinking about it now, Penny’s eyes moistened. She would make them pay for every bad thing they each did to her.
Peter watched her lips move slightly, and he wondered what the beautu before him was thinking. It’s not like it’s his fault anyways.
He didn’t like her body at the time and thought to be honest. He was doing her a favour anyways. No man in their right mind would have wanted a woman as shapeless as Penny was. Unless he was mad.
