It was sunset, Abby and her little family sat around Chris as they watched him sleep so calmly. The bed he laid on was the only property left in the mansion. And they had fought with Barnaby to keep it because of Chris.
"We can’t continue like this," Ariana said staring around. This was not the life she envisioned when she married into the Adkins family. She never knew one day, Penny would be the one in charge of her life.
"She’s right Greg. What are we going to do?" Abby asked her husband and for the first time, Greg had no idea.
Penny emptying the entire mansion was the most embarrassing thing ever. And to make matters worse, for this week, Ariana and Christian’s marriage would commence. They were to host another huge engagement party for them.
People couldn’t come to an empty mansion, they would mock them.
Greg had thought of selling more lands, but the Adkins lawyer’s eyes had suddenly come to the land and questions were already flying around.
Greg had no idea why they were suddenly so interested in the lands after many years now. Aside from the part they got from Dewitt, they have successfully sold out three of Osvaldo’s lands.
After all, the boy was mad. A madman knows nothing about lands.
