Chapter 22: A PAST TO REMEMBER
"I don’t need any maids or servants, I just want Penny," Ariana said and Penny frowned.
She knew where this was going. Ariana’s an annoying little brat and will always be annoying.
"Why do you need me, Ariana? I’m an illiterate. I have no idea what you’re doing?" Penny said.
"Of course you are. But you’re a little better than the maids. Or wait, you’re really no different." Ari smiled.
"Please come with me, big sister. I’m really sorry for hurting your husband. I was wrong." She started, faking empathy. But Penny didn’t fall for it. She didn’t care at all.
"I was only looking out for you. It hurt me greatly when he hurt you and I wanted to get my revenge on him. But I had no idea you loved him already." She continued.
"I should have never hurt your husband Penny. Let me make it up to you two. Let’s treat him together." Ariana said.
"How sweet." Abby suddenly said.
"I was wrong for hitting you Ari, I’m so sorry. You’re such a good soul." She said.
"Of course Ari is. Even after getting slapped by her elder sister, she still wants to save her husband." Penny felt like she was going crazy at their words.
Did they not see that Ariana was the one to hurt Osvaldo, or were they turning a blind eye to it on purpose?
