The team leader was almost in tears. Situ Xuan had been unreachable since last night, although it had been agreed that once they revised the draft, they would immediately take it to his office for his review. But in the middle of the night, Situ Xuan disappeared!
What’s more, it had been arranged that he would look at the draft sent to his email and instantly provide feedback. The whole team waited for his response. Yet, by midnight, there was still no message from Situ Xuan!
Eventually, when they did get a hold of him on the phone, he said he would give feedback right away, but it wasn’t until three or four in the morning that he emailed his comments to his personal email. With no choice left, everyone had to stay up late to make the changes, and then they sent it to his mailbox, waiting for him to review the final version. But then his phone was unreachable!
Up until now, Situ Xuan had paid no attention to their bidding document. What were they supposed to do?
"I have no idea! I haven’t been able to contact him since last night."
Having no other choice, the deputy general manager turned his gaze to Ya Jiayi, who was off to the side. At this moment, she was the only one who had Situ Xuan’s private number.
"Miss Ya, we can only ask for your help with this matter!" the deputy general manager said helplessly.
Cheng Tingting stood in front of Ya Jiayi, watched her nod, and without a second word, immediately called Situ Xuan back.
The phone only rang twice before being swiftly answered. Ya Jiayi immediately said, "Mr. Situ."
"Yes, I’m here." Although Situ Xuan answered the call, his voice sounded—unmistakably weary.
