Anning Jian had no choice but to say to an assistant, "If Zexiao is looking for me later, just tell him I’ve gone off with Miss Ling to deal with something."
The assistant nodded, and only then did Anning turn around, but as she did, she saw Ling Yinuo with a somewhat teasing smile, "You don’t have to be so nervous, I won’t hurt you."
For some reason, seeing her sly smile made Anning shiver involuntarily.

Ling Yinuo led her deeper into the yacht. While this place differed from the usual tourist cruise ships, it too had its hierarchy. Ryu Zexiao’s group stayed in the most luxurious rooms. Whereas Director Li, Lu Jiayuan, and Jiang Xuanqi had rooms that were just a notch below in quality.
All along the way, Ling Yinuo was surveying Anning with a curious gaze, making her feel uneasy until she finally asked, "Miss Ling, is there something dirty on my face?"
"There’s nothing," Ling Yinuo said cheerfully, but then blinked and said, "Although Xingxing and I aren’t from the same city, our parents know each other. Qin Xian’s parents got married when we were children, and we both served as flower children. You could say we’ve been childhood friends. I’ve known him for over twenty years, but this is the first time I’ve seen him so anxious about a woman!"
Anning replied formally, "I think Miss Ling is misunderstanding. I am Zexiao’s assistant, and because of that, I usually take care of his daily needs. Maybe because of this, we appear somewhat close. But it doesn’t go beyond that."
