From that day on, Axelius’s time was divided clearly. In the morning, he trained.
After the Grand Duke returned, Axelius boldly requested the Grand Duke for his own private training area. The Duke, who had just sat not more than 5 seconds stared at Axelius like he had lost his mind.
"You already have the whole backyard. Why do you need a separate area again?" the Duke asked, tired.
"Because I want to train seriously. I don’t want anyone watching or bothering me," Axelius replied, standing with arms crossed like he was the one giving orders.
The Duke sighed. "There’s a limit to how spoiled you can be, Axelius. You don’t just ask for personal training grounds like it’s candy."
Axelius didn’t back down. "You gave Cyruz a sword chamber. You gave him private tutors and magic teachers. Me? I want a training ground. It’s not that hard. Just give me one, and I won’t bother you."
The Grand Duke rubbed his temples slowly, like trying to squeeze the headache out of his skull. "I swear, every time you open your mouth, I lose a week of peace..."
"So it’s a yes?"
"Fine. Take the south garden. Put up walls if you want. Just go away," the Duke finally muttered.
"Thanks, Father. I’ll remember this moment as the day I won," Axelius grinned and turned around before the Duke could change his mind.
"You didn’t win," the Grand Duke yelled. "I just surrendered for the sake of my sanity!"
