Chapter 57: Talk From The Heart
(Orlax POV)
"I need to reclaim my ’Right’ quickly. Without it, many of my traits are locked, and I can’t use my full power."
As I finished reading and set the tablet aside, my thoughts wandered to my "Right."
The "Right" is something like a unique ability that you gain.
To reach the level of Grandmaster, you must possess the "Right" to be recognized as having truly attained that level.
That’s why, although many people reach the Master level, not everyone can become a Grandmaster.
The reason I have the "Right," or rather, the reason the original Orlax obtained it, was stillness or silence.
During the four years he spent in the imperial palace, he was tortured many times by other princes and princesses.
On one occasion, he was left alone in a dark cell for two whole months.
During that time, he nearly lost his mind due to the isolation and darkness, but he resisted.
And because he resisted, he survived—and because of the silence and stillness that surrounded him, he began to feel something else.
