Chapter 93: The Night
"Remember not to cross the partition, alright? Otherwise, I will poke your eyes out." Kotori warned sternly, her eyes narrowing as she shot Shido a pointed glare.
Shido could only smile bitterly at her words. 'Why is she acting like I'm some kind of shameless pervert?' He sighed internally. There was no way he would sneak into their bed... right?
Still, knowing better than to argue, he simply raised his hands in surrender and nodded helplessly. "Yeah, yeah, I got it."
With that, he turned and made his way to his designated sleeping area.
After dinner, the girls spent some time playing with Shido, engaging in various games like table tennis. It wasn't until Kotori clapped her hands and called for order that the group finally settled down for the night.
Shido, not wanting to cause any trouble, walked toward his designated sleeping area without a word. He didn't really mind sleeping alone since he might do something inappropriate with Tohka or Origami causing them to be caught.
However, Tohka and Origami had other plans. Without hesitation, they voiced their desire to sleep in the same futon as Shido.
"No way! Absolutely not!" Kotori's voice rang through the room, her face turning red, not from embarrassment, but from sheer frustration.
"B-But why? It's just sleeping!" Tohka pouted, crossing her arms.
Origami, as always, was more direct. "I don't see the problem. In fact, I insist."
"You two are the problem!" Kotori snapped, stomping her foot. "I know exactly what you two are thinking!" She pointed an accusatory finger at them. "There will be no funny business tonight! I forbid it!"
