"Wait, Ruby! Not like that!" I scream in terror as I try to pull Ruby out of a food monster with tentacles made of noodles and all kinds of spices; the smell alone makes me tear up. "How the fuck did you do that?!"
"I don't know! I follow all your instructions, Jin!" Ruby looks ready to cry herself as she tries her best to fight off the noodle tentacles, trying to have its way with her body.
"What do we do?!" Weiss jumps around, trying to avoid being caught by the noodle tentacles. "Burning it doesn't work! I tried setting it on fire more than once!"
"This kind of reminds me of the time when Yor partnered up with Nyarla in the cooking class back in high school." Makima said to Shouko; both standing on the sidelines, and none of the noodle tentacles tried to do anything to them.
"Wasn't there more than a dozen of them?" Shouko looks sideways at a tiny mushroom with a sinister face almost at her feet, turning to dust. "I think the teacher praised them for creating life from food."
"Yeah, the same teacher who got fired for not teaching everyone how to cook properly. Not everyone can eat those food monsters, let alone those created by two members of the Eldritch pantheon." Makima smiles.
