This is a legacy issue.
The blood feuds of the predecessors have deeply ingrained this concept into their very bones.
So much so, that even the enemies’ cultivation methods cannot taint them in the slightest.
This point, Zhou Ping’an could sense from some of the experiences he went through. Therefore, unless it was someone extremely close to him, he would not reveal that he was learning from both Daoist and Demonic paths.
Of course, cultivating both Daoist and Demonic practices also stemmed from Zhou Ping’an’s modern-era background, where his overwhelming desire for extraordinary knowledge didn’t let him differentiate between the righteous and the evil practices of cultivation.
Whatever was most useful, whatever cultivation method could strengthen his powers the fastest, that’s what he would learn.
