Journey to the West: Starting from Changing Sun Wukong’s fate

In the southernmost part of Southern Continent Jambudvipa, Sun Wukong stood beside Xuanzang in the newly constructed Fo Fei Temple, hoping that Xuanzang would think it over again and again.

Now, throughout Southern Continent Jambudvipa, demonic qi reigned supreme, spreading far to the south beyond their current location.

Apart from the areas that Sun Wukong had explored, the demonic qi was not as conspicuous elsewhere, but now it galloped across the land unrestrained.

"Buddhism is compassionate, and monks do not enter the Six Paths of Reincarnation, but if I do not enter Hell, who will?"

"Wukong, there’s no need to say more. My body is filled with Buddha Energy, and if I cannot purify this demonic qi at this moment, what use is there in immediately Attaining Buddhahood?"

Though Xuanzang did not voice Amitabha Buddha, every thought in his mind was imbued with the Dharma Appearance of the Buddhist houses.

"Let’s speak no further of this matter. Starting the cycle of karmic retribution with me is indeed the most appropriate time."

"I might not save all beings in the Three Realms, but if I can lessen the suffering of countless souls by just a little, then I have fulfilled my Buddhist duty."

Xuanzang spoke each word deliberately, as Buddha’s light gradually expanded behind him.

For the Buddhist houses, this might be an opportunity.

But for the entire Southern Continent Jambudvipa, it was a true disaster of epic proportions.
