"Is this your friend?" Fu Yingying curiously asked upon seeing Zhang Xuan personally burying the three individuals.
"Sort of," Zhang Xuan nodded.
"Life and death are both part of fate. Even death leaves traces. If we can find those traces and extract their fates from the River of Destiny, bringing someone back to life isn't impossible," Fu Yingying explained.
"Bringing someone back to life?" Zhang Xuan looked incredulous.
Even as the lord of a world, he couldn't achieve such a feat in the Xuan World. While it was possible to reassemble an identical body with matching memories, it would not truly be the same person.
Noticing Zhang Xuan's intense gaze, Fu Yingying blushed and hurriedly added, "I only heard this from my elders. I don’t know the specifics. I've just heard that it has been done before..."
"Whether it's true or not, it's worth a try," Zhang Xuan nodded decisively.
