Lightning Blade had learned to not take any hasty actions anymore and remained calm in abnormal situations.
Firstly, acting without much knowledge was considered idiotic. Secondly, one should only act once they learn their enemies’ objective.
Lastly, to avoid alerting the enemies, they must maintain an act of ignorance to bait and trap them in one fall swoop.
These were all the main cores that a Team Leader must know. Otherwise, they shouldn’t even take on such a responsible role and lead others.
"Alright, I shall inform my subordinates to investigate the surroundings as usual protocol." Dark Night responded.
It was the norm for the Vanguard Guild to send people to patrol the area alongside the hired NPC guards. Hence, such action would not arouse any suspicion unless they deliberately behaved in an abnormal manner.
"Good, I’ll count on you in this matter." Lightning Blade soon bid farewell and promptly arrived at the Town Hall.
A few minutes later, he relayed the findings and subsequent actions to Veronica.
"More problems?" Veronica frowned and her expression darkened.
"Have you contacted the Guild Commanders? They are above me in rankings." She lashed out and wondered why everyone was searching for her.
She had barely finished a meeting with the other first-rate guilds and made a big business deal. Just when she thought she could get some rest and take a breather, Lightning Blade came here to announce some bad news.
Even a saint or Buddha would be enraged by the neverending pile of workload.
