Chapter 1058: Burpe’s Abnormal Reaction
While Veronica experienced an episode of regret and bitterness, back at the Phantasm Sea Legacy Part 3 of 7, Xu Feng had made great progress with the help of Burpe.
"Another trap?" Xu Feng’s eyes lit up and warmly rubbed Burpe’s head. "Oh, you are really the successor of the trap dismantler!"
"Hehe, it’s no big deal." Burpe giggled gleefully and pointed in another direction. "There’s no more traps anymore and only a private room left."
Nodding, Xu Feng swiftly controlled the warship to head over the direction.
Sometime later, they arrived at a large stone door that seemed tightly sealed.
Besides the tight sealing, there were also many engravings in the door.
"Can you phase through the door and unlock it?" Xu Feng turned to Burpe and inquired. He thought that with the latter’s ability to phase through any object, he could save himself the trouble in trying to decipher the mechanism to enter.
Alas, it appeared that even Burpe was stumped this time.
Burpe shook their head and said with a bitter tone. "The door blocks my phasing. I was never able to enter inside. Only Master Bea was capable of opening the door."
"Only your Master huh..." A bit taken aback, Xu Feng’s eyes trailed to the stone door and wondered what method a siren would use to lock something.
He rubbed his chin softly and inspected the door. He tried to steer the warship closer, but found there was a transparent barrier preventing him from advancing.
