Chapter 119: Indirect Kiss? We Have Gone Way Past That!
"What a wonderful day outside the Dungeon!"
Celeste stretched wide at the sun atop her head, noon just arriving in time for lunch.
Demond glanced behind her, the large abyssal tear stretching again in her vision, her heart welling up with a profound uneasiness.
If not for the scaled hand still holding hers in silence, that unease would have overwhelmed her in grief and ashen memories.
Surprisingly, circumventing the back isn’t difficult. Each floor’s Dungeon had simulated a portal hidden somewhere for the adventurers to find and exit.
Or if you defeat the boss, the portal in the starting area will open again, leading straight to other floors or outside, depending on where your thoughts are directed.
"Convenient... but also meant there’s no way out unless you find the hidden portal or defeat the boss, huh?"
"Absolutely!" Celeste swung her arms in excitement. "Well, we sorta breeze through the floor, but also hidden are some treasures scattered here and there, as well as the boss weapon, corpses, and sometimes even Dwarven Artifacts!"
"Dwarven Artifacts?"
"Mhm. Usually, when we call an artifact, it’s a weapon of some kind, like a Sword and whatnot. We’re still sorta at 10F, so this may change!"
Hopefully, without the Tyrant’s flames lurking behind any of it. Demond sighed inward before marching on, the other three following.
