Chapter 1394: Arena
Ji You and Shen Sheng walked side by side, then got into a self-service floating car, which drove at a constant speed towards the public combat arena of the Alliance First Military Academy.
The arena wasn’t far from the square, about 10 kilometers away.
Once they left, the crowd gathered in the square quickly dispersed.
The square was filled with self-service floating cars, driven away by everyone immediately. Many people couldn’t find a car, so they had to carpool or find another vehicle elsewhere.
Ji You and Shen Sheng were unaware of the crowd’s reaction behind them; they sat in the car, both closing their eyes to rest.
Quiet.
Apart from the sound of their breathing, there was no other noise inside the car. Even in this silence that seemed slightly somber, Ji You and Shen Sheng appeared completely at ease, without a hint of awkwardness.
They both closed their eyes, ignoring each other, yet both were at peace.
In the floating car following them, several students from the First Army squeezed into the carriage, chattering away.
