Chapter 2 - 002 Discarded Energy Box
"Aunt Zhen Ni, the energy box you found can be sold for at least 400 credit points, which is equal to the total of what you earned from selling scrap these past months," Xie Yi couldn't help but step forward and examine the energy box together with Ji You.
A brand new Grade 1 energy box sells for 500 on the Star Network, and the one Grandma Jenny found, when taken to a second-hand recycling shop, the shop owner would generally press down the price to around 400 credit points.
However, Grandma Jenny was already very satisfied, hearing everyone's envious voices, she modestly said repeatedly:
"Good luck."
"Good luck."
"Just good luck."
"The luck isn't bad," said Lea, who was always calm.
Grandma Jenny's significant find motivated others, particularly Ji You and Uncle Xie Yi; both of them searched more thoroughly through the trash, sparing no effort and not willing to miss even the smallest piece of garbage. Unfortunately, luck did not favor them that evening, and all they found were some low-cost scraps, which altogether were worth probably only about 2 credit points.
Lea, being strong and having a weapon for protection, could venture further into the trash heaps to look for scrap. He also had a twenty cubic feet Space Knot, allowing him to carry a lot of items; thus, his harvest was quite good.
After packing some discarded materials from low-level mechas into his Space Knot, Lea said with a steady expression, "It's almost eight o'clock, the peak activity time for Carrion Rats is coming, let's go back."
Hearing Lea's words, Ji You, Uncle Xie Yi, and Grandma Jenny didn't linger at all, they all stopped, gathered their things, and prepared to head back.
