Holding two plates in her hands, Rose came into the parlor, meeting Rolan and Tobi watching cartoons. With a lot of interest, she couldn’t help but stop her movement.
This... Her breath caught. Just looking at the image of Rolan and Tobi sitting together gave her strange feelings in her heart.
They were father and child. They looked so close right now, like they had known each other for a very long time. Rose sighed, looking at Tobi and Rolan. Taking a deep breath, she walked to the semi-parlor table, placing the meal on it immediately, getting the attention of Rolan and Tobi.
Tobi turned his small head and called, "Mum." Rose smiled back at him.
She went on to pick him up from the chair.
"Come sit with Mum. I’ll feed you. Mummy will," she said, carrying out all of this action while ignoring Rolan’s presence with a sweet smile on her face.
She could feel Rolan’s gaze burning on her as she ignored him.
Why was he looking at her so intently? She had also kept a plate of food for him on the table.
She fed Tobi anyway. Tobi tasted the meal, beaming with delight at the flavor on his lips.
Rolan was still looking at her. She hadn’t turned to face him, but she could feel his gaze burning into her.
"Ahem." She cleared her throat and continued feeding Tobi.
