Chapter 132: _Mysterious Disappearance
Exactly three days after Elsa tried to kill me, I had finally recovered enough to get my wolf functioning normally again.
The little guy had managed to get rid of the poisoning from the wolfsbane and the silver dagger and was in turn, healing my body naturally from any residues left.
During the span of these three days, one person never left my side, administering care and spending quality time with me.
Phoebe.
She was patient and our bond seemed to grow stronger during this period.
Apart from that, I realized that my mother and her seemed to be getting along. It was a weird sight to behold but I guess it was only the right thing for my mother to do after Elsa almost killed me and Phoebe saved me.
Anyway, on the third day after the incident, I sat on my bed, waiting patiently for an upcoming meeting I would be having with the members of my Alpha council.
I couldn’t exert myself with too much pressure yet but I was strong enough to talk normally and even walk.
"Are you sure you’ll be able to handle the stress?" Phoebe suddenly asked as I paced around the suite, awaiting my council.
It was already eight in the morning but I hadn’t even had breakfast, managing only to take a bath.
I turned my gaze to Phoebe who sat on a couch in my suite, wearing a simple blue day dress and having her hair tied into a curly ponytail that flowed down her chest.
