In her second form, White Dew crashed into the mirror surface before bouncing off in a dozen purple currents trailing sparkling energy as they closed in on Wang Zikai. The moment the currents entered his vicinity, they split further into countless fist-sized clumps of water, each a high-density energy bomb that unleashed sharp ice cones.
Wang Zikai didn’t even attempt to dodge the large urchin-like crystals. He continued to walk with one hand in his pocket, waving his other hand like he was swatting annoying mosquitoes away.
None of the numerous purple ice cones touched Wang Zikai. They all shattered into flying shards as they got close. The ice shards flew toward him like bullets, yet they still ended up intercepted by the invisible energy field around him.
The blond man strolled amid the exploding purple crystals. Not even their brilliance could drown out his golden aura and seemingly divine will.
White Dew launched her last attempt.
The ice crystals radiated blinding purple light like they had turned into molten metal. They converged toward Wang Zikai in an attempt to melt him and morph into a tombstone.
Wang Zikai was reminded then that mosquitoes were not only annoying with their buzz, but also in their stings.
He stopped walking.

Wang Zikai pulled his left hand out of his pocket and lifted it, making a simple clenching motion.
An irresistible rule-based power reversed the scattering purple currents, gathering them toward Wang Zikai’s left hand in the form of a figure. Wang Zikai’s fingers ended up closing around White Dew’s neck. He lifted her up with a derisive expression.
