Chapter 1180: Dirty Laundry
Mark slowly looked up at War Tiger when he reached the lakeside. His sunken, sharp features arranged into a satisfied smile. “Finally.”
War Tiger drew the Dragonslaying Giantsword from his back and grinned. “I’ve kept you waiting.”
“Why, you haven’t brought any help?” Sitting on the throne, Mark stretched his neck. “The Heavenly Way hasn’t weakened me as much as you think.”
“Help?” War Tiger raised his sword at Mark’s forehead. “Don’t you know that a family’s dirty laundry shouldn’t be aired in public? Besides, I want to be the only one to enjoy the privilege of killing my old man.”
“Good. You’re finally acting like a real man.” Mark’s lips curled up. “That’s my son.”
The word “son” seemed to trigger War Tiger’s rage. He moved so fast that it looked like he had vanished, streaking across the lake like a gray wind toward Mark.
Instead of standing up, Mark remained on the throne with his back arched and head lowered, like a boxer resting between rounds. Meanwhile, the giant horns across the lake burst toward War Tiger.
War Tiger sliced the horns into pieces with a flurry of fierce slashes while dodging left and right, zigzagging toward Mark by using the horns as his stepping stones. He moved with such easy agility that it seemed like he would be able to dodge the horns perfectly no matter from what angles they were stabbing at him.
The exchange told Mark that War Tiger was much stronger than he had been the last time.
