…What is this? I was confused by the system window that had suddenly appeared. And with it saying “Hello” out of the blue, could this be some kind of chat window? I glanced at the name displayed on the system window.

「The Capricious One.」

“…?”

The Capricious One? What kind of name is that? Is it some sort of nickname?

I tilted my head and stared at the system window glowing with purple light. Then I spoke.

“Who are you?”

「The Capricious One: …」

I asked quietly, but the system window, glowing faintly, gave no reply. Did I also need to type my question into the terminal? No sooner had the thought occurred than words appeared on the purple system window.

「The Capricious One: Who do you think it is?」
