I pointed my sword towards the wolfman with red fur. He was looking at me with a suspicious gaze.

「GRRRRRRRRRR! WHO ARE YOU?! HOW DID YOU PARRY MY SWORD?!!?」

I had no obligation to answer his question though.

In the first place, I was currently undercover. I wasn’t the Dark Knight, Kuroki, rather I was just Kuroki, the wandering swordsman.

「I’m just a wandering swordsman who wants to give a little assistance to the brave boy who stood up for others.」

I glanced at my back without letting my guard down to the one before me.
