At a quiet intersection, Ryoma and Kamishiro Rize came to a stop.
Their homes were in different directions.
"Ryoma-kun, thank you for today as well."
Rize smiled sweetly, her tone carrying a hint of hesitation.
"Well... my home isn't far from Takada Building Street," she murmured. "Didn't a murder happen there recently?"
Her voice trembled slightly, her expression uneasy.
"Here we go."
Ryoma immediately recognized the setup.
"That case..." He nodded. "I heard it was a ghoul attack."
"Yes... It's been bothering me ever since." Rize shivered, clutching her arms. "I can barely sleep at night. Walking home alone this late... it's terrifying."
She was practically spelling it out for him.
