Chapter 122
I didn’t sleep the entire night looking at her. It was a blessing for me to get this moment. It was a blessing for me to be with her like this while she kept on calling my name how she used to do in school.
I still remember those days. How I went to her for the first time even though it was started by my brother Aaron. Even though I approached her for that reason, the moment when I came to know she didn’t love him but me. I felt a weird feeling which I never felt before. It was really the first. It was the first experience I had in my teenage years.
The moment she ran toward me running after school ended and the moment, I too even realized I was the one she likes. I had the thought that I will stop everything. I had the thought that I don’t want to stretch anything for this sake. But she didn’t let me.
She came. She didn’t even take a day to answer me as if she was waiting for this moment for a while.
"James", she woke up from her sleep while I was thinking of her.
"Yes baby, I’m here", she cuddles while holding me. I even closed the curtains so that she can sleep well. But she woke up and tied her hair which was already tangled enough making her groan.
"Why are you smiling like an idiot?" Do I really look like an idiot?
"No reason", I act like an even more of a fool.
"Hey, don’t act like this. It is kind of scary", she takes her steps back.
"Am I?" I went closer to her and held her by her waist/
"YES", she started laughing as I tickled her for minutes.
Her laugh was like music to my ear. It was an assurance to me. It was a relief to me. It was kind of everything to me.
