"Why are you shouting like that?"
"Did I say something wrong?" I don’t really know what made him scream. Is it because I said I would introduce Erios as my son? Oh, so I hurt his pride.
"I’m really sorry, Duke," I said.
"W-what? Why?" he kind of stuttered.
"As I said, about mentioning Erios as my son."
"I know you are still young. You can have as many wives as you want, but if others know that you married someone who already has a child, it will ruin your reputation. So... I know I should have thought before speaking anything," I said, scratching my ear.
But he didn’t say anything and walked away.
"Master, are you in trouble because of me?" Erios asked.
"If you can read my thoughts, why bother asking me?" I sounded annoyed.
"No, I didn’t." As he said that, I felt guilty. No matter how old he is right now, he looks like a twelve-year-old kid who is still too naive to understand anything.
"Erios, come here!" I called him near me, and he came to me without asking anything else.
