It was like the floodgates were opened.
The moment Rob asked the people in there what they were doing, everyone started speaking over one another. Rob had a hard time trying to follow their conversation. Luckily, they too realized it and toned it down.
For the next hour, Rob was treated to one exhibition after another. It was one guy after the other. They introduced Rob to their project and started talking about them very passionately.
However, they never seemed to stop. Fortunately, the rest didn’t have much patience either. They would cut in and explain what they were doing. Sometimes there would be conflicting viewpoints between two projects that would lead to an argument.
The others even started taking sides and began arguing more and more. When such a thing happened, Rob would have to cut in and ask one of the other guys what their project was.
Luckily for Rob, there weren’t many people there. With six or seven guys working on different projects, the explanations quickly came to an end. Rob let out a huge sigh after that.
"So, what do you think? These things just blew your mind, right?" Brent said eagerly excited to talk more. "I know right, look at them. This place is so packed with energy."
Rob didn’t think so. To him, this was pure chaos. These guys didn’t have a clear direction. They were trying to do whatever they wanted, not even thinking about putting all their efforts into a single project and completing it.
If all these guys came together and created something, Rob would be glad to listen to what it was. However, these guys really were like a bunch of loose sand. There was no cohesion or teamwork among them.
