After over an hour of intense effort, Natsuki finally made a breakthrough.
He took a deep breath and slowly formed a series of hand seals. "Shiyō no Jutsu!"
POOF! — A pair of arms suddenly sprouted from his shoulder blades. Under the control of his brain, these arms could move flexibly, and their fingers were nimble enough to perform hand seals with ease.
POOF! — Another pair of small hands emerged from his lower back. They were tiny—at first glance, one might mistake them for decorations.
But these small hands were just as agile. They could perform hand seals and even allowed Natsuki to execute jutsu properly.
"Phew... finally made it!"
Natsuki let out a long breath. This adjustment really taxed his brain.
Even though Kage Bunshin no Jutsu only used a few hand seals, the fewer the seals, the harder they were to modify. Especially since Natsuki's requirements were complex—not only did he want to generate arms, but he wanted to manifest any body part he desired, at will, and at any size.
He had raised the difficulty for himself. No wonder his head was spinning.
But the result was well worth it.
In battle, he could now sprout small hands from his back that could form seals out of sight. That alone would make it look like he could cast jutsu without forming any seals, keeping his opponents guessing when and what kind of jutsu he would unleash.
