You Think I Won't Talk?

Chapter 406

The Duke hadn’t said anything but we most probably would have gone back with him if not for the Princess’s invitation.

I did feign reticence, though.

I’m actually kind of abusing my stay at this point... but I prefer to shamelessly live in a stranger’s house than stay at the house where the strangest psycho roams around freely.

When I told the Duke I wanted to stay, he didn’t even make a fuss about it. Thankfully. I was so very nervous, yet he only made us promise to keep sending letters every day and if not possible at least every other day so he wouldn’t... "miss us as much"... hehe~ so cute.

"....."

Ahem, anyway, back to the current matters... here they don’t make me starve for events. And I would say it’s idiotic to even try. I mean... this figure is too good. Too nice. Our curves are right where I or anyone sane would want them. Hotter than a roasted potato and I dare say... tastier. Fufu~

’The gurl was bad~... this gurl is dangerous~’ — I singsonged excited and thrilled my childhood’s idol song just as cool as if my surname was Jackson. — ’Woh!’

"Oh, my lady, I am sorry, did I comb your hair hurtfully?" — Probably at my frown that was simply feeling the vibe from the satisfaction the song granted, Paige asked. Concerned, since she was still getting used to reading the faint but now visible gestures my face could show.

’... No... it was my hair, my face, my lines... divinity I saw, Paige~..... sigh, don’t worry.’ — Still wishing to enjoy the good mood I was in, I answered changing the song accordingly. But even so, it’s a joke only I can enjoy here.

"Lady Marianne, only a few details are left, aren’t there? Do endure a little longer." — Then the Princess who sat a few steps away said. Strict with her voice’s tone yet clearly delighted with that grin she had on her face.
