Chapter 2607: Chapter 2607: Finally Waiting for You! (Part 8)
"Let’s go."Dan Tingye stopped in place, watching Jiang Nan’s car drive away a certain distance before stepping into the back seat of the car.
Yao paused for a moment, quickly nodding respectfully, then getting into the car.
"Be honest with me, what’s going on with the press conference now?" Dan Tingye spoke indifferently, needing to know what happened after he left to guess what punishment he would face next.
"It’s terrible, sir!"
Yao’s grip on the steering wheel slightly jerked, then he reported truthfully, "You suddenly left the conference with Miss Meimei, causing instant chaos on-site. The reporters completely shifted the focus from the new drug launch to your relationship..."
Just as Jiang Nan had speculated, even rumors emerged about the new president of Dan Group eloping with a mysterious woman, and this news was bound to impact Dan Group’s stock price.
Not to mention that the new drug that was supposed to be highlighted today has been completely overlooked.
Yao tried his best to manage the situation, but couldn’t turn the tide. In the end, he had to report back to Dan Hanjie.
"Sir, regarding the press conference, Mr. Jie has already handled it. We owe Bai Zheng a favor for this; if it weren’t for him stepping in to purchase all the photos of Miss Meimei at the conference, Mr. Jie wouldn’t have been able to persuade the reporters as smoothly and suppress the impact of the whole incident."
Thus, the crisis at the new drug launch was resolved, but Dan Hanjie became even angrier!
His Dan Group’s new industry actually relied on Bai Zheng for the conference to proceed smoothly. How infuriating must this be for him?
"Mr. Bai didn’t want Meimei’s identity as the heir to the Divine Doctor’s laboratory exposed to the media." Dan Tingye spoke quietly.
