Chapter 2553: Chapter 2553: Ye Mingmei, I’m Back! (12)
"Listening to this makes my heart ache. Do you know that for the past three years, I’ve watched my precious gem suffer at the hands of a heartless man? How heartbroken do you think I am?"Ye Zhanxing’s fingers tightened, his hand gripping the teacup so hard that his knuckles turned white, grinding his teeth, "Yu Xiuzhun!"
With a wave of Ye Zhanxing’s hand, the cup flew from his grip and shattered on the floor, fragments of porcelain scattered, and a tea-colored plum blossom spread on the carpet.
He stood up and seized Bai Zheng’s collar.
"Mr. Ye, my master has his reasons, let me explain!" The assistant, upon hearing the shattering cup and seeing Bai Zheng remain silent, rushed forward anxiously, blocking Ye Zhanxing’s fist.
"Shut up! Get out of the way!"
Bai Zheng’s deep, ominous eyes tensed slightly. Facing the enraged Ye Zhanxing, he pushed aside the assistant blocking his path and looked calmly at Ye Zhanxing, "I wronged Mingmei. Uncle, go ahead and hit me."
"Mr. Ye, my master has been in a coma for three years, he’s constantly worried about Miss Ye and little Meimei. He forced himself to be discharged even though his body hasn’t recovered. He’s been waiting for Miss Ye at the Ye Family’s gates all day today, and his body can’t take it..."
"I told you to shut up!"
The assistant, seeing Bai Zheng’s angry glare, dared not speak further and could only look at Ye Zhanxing anxiously, fearing Ye Zhanxing genuinely wanted to hit Bai Zheng.
