Chapter 2511: Is the Target Meimei or Youyou?
"..."
Bai Zheng’s gaze darkened, his grip on her fingers was so tight that his knuckles turned white. Her lingering warmth was pressed against his face, and he almost couldn’t resist pulling her into his arms and loudly telling her he’s here, she’s not alone!
"Mingmei..."
"Buzz buzz——"
Just as Bai Zheng was about to speak, the phone in his pocket rang. He glanced at Ye Mingmei, not letting go of her hand, and answered the call with his free hand.
The assistant on the other end of the line sounded panicked.
"Master, something bad happened. We just received news that the little lady was kidnapped when she left kindergarten today. The opposition came in force, even the bodyguards from the Dan Family couldn’t stop them. It’s said that Divine Doctor Di Wu’s daughter, Youyou, was also taken!"
"What did you say? More than just Meimei was kidnapped?" Bai Zheng squinted his wicked eyes.
Even Diwu Zexuan’s daughter was kidnapped. What on earth is going on?
"According to eyewitnesses, the little lady left the classroom with Divine Doctor’s daughter. While they were waiting at the school gate, an unknown force suddenly rushed in. Their actions were extremely swift. Although the Dan Family’s bodyguards immediately stepped in to stop them, they were still a step too late. In less than a minute, the two young ladies were taken."
Given the current strength of the Yu family, it’s theoretically impossible for them to muster such an elite force. Where exactly did things go wrong?
Why did the opposition kidnap Meimei and Youyou? What are they after?
Bai Zheng hung up the phone, pulled Ye Mingmei, and turned to get into his car, driving toward the direction of a private villa.
