Chapter 2477: The Key to Unlocking the Yu Family Graveyard (9)
Bai Zheng lowered his head and looked at little Meimei in his arms. Her soft and tender body was like a ball of cotton, and he didn’t dare to hold her tightly, fearing he might hurt her.
But just by this simple leaning against him, he could feel a warmth continuously flooding into his chest.
"It’s Daddy’s fault. Daddy shouldn’t have slept so long. Daddy apologizes to you. Can you forgive Daddy?" Bai Zheng reached out and picked up little Meimei, looking earnestly into her eyes.
"Of course I forgive you!"
Little Meimei stared at him for a while, then reached out her tiny hand to touch his handsome face and tilted her head to ask, "Daddy’s face is red. Does it hurt?"
"..."
Bai Zheng’s body stiffened. With little Meimei’s motion, he realized she was mentioning the wound on his face.
Jin Chenye’s punch just now wasn’t light, and his cheekbone should already be swollen, no wonder even little Meimei noticed.
He was just about to explain when he saw little Meimei pucker her small mouth, gently kiss him where it hurt, and carefully blew on his wound.
"Daddy, don’t cry. Meimei will blow on it, and it won’t hurt anymore."
