Chapter 2421: A Reasonable Explanation for Everyone
Putting down the phone, Dan Hanjie slightly raised his head and glanced at Jin Chenye, a cold and fierce look in his eyes.
"It seems no one ever taught Mr. Jin that entering someone else’s room requires knocking first."
"I also never knew that a person dead for three years could resurrect!" Jin Chenye’s tall figure turned, and he paced toward Dan Hanjie.
Dan Hanjie’s eyes narrowed as he looked at the confident Jin Chenye, sneering, "What nonsense are you talking about? If you have something to say, don’t play riddles in front of me."
"What I’m saying, you should ask yourself. Yu Xiuzhun clearly didn’t die three years ago. Why did you deceive everyone, even Ye Mingmei and Meimei? Don’t you know how much Meimei wants a father?"
Jin Chenye stepped forward, reaching out to grab Dan Hanjie’s collar, but before he could touch Dan Hanjie, his wrist was caught.
Dan Hanjie’s eyes deepened, and he abruptly stood up from the chair, a cold gleam flashing in his eyes.
Facing Jin Chenye’s angry gaze, he confronted him for three seconds, then curled his lips.
"Are you delusional or just bored? These words, you may as well say in front of me, but make sure Ye Mingmei doesn’t hear them. Holding onto hope only to be utterly disappointed—I’m afraid you can’t handle the consequences."
"You don’t need to act in front of me. The one who kidnapped me today, and the one who saw Meimei at the kindergarten, is indeed Yu Xiuzhun, right?" Jin Chenye’s gentle eyes were tinged with anger.
He couldn’t understand why someone would kidnap him, do nothing, and then release him.
Also, the bodyguards protecting Meimei were clearly subdued, yet Meimei was completely fine, merely asleep.
Only when he saw Meimei’s drawings did Jin Chenye realize the most logical explanation was that Yu Xiuzhun wasn’t dead at all!
