Chapter 2418: The Album Full of Secrets
Inside the cabinet, a bunch of drawing pencils clattered to the floor, and Ye Mingmei was stunned.
Looking at the sketch pencils rolling to her feet, she bent down to pick them up. One glance and she knew they belonged to Meimei.
These drawing pencils were custom-made by Ye Zhanxing to encourage Meimei’s efforts in art, with her zodiac sign and name engraved on them.
How did these pencils end up in the wardrobe? Could it be that Meimei always mysteriously hid in the wardrobe just to draw?
What was she drawing that warranted such secrecy?
Ye Mingmei rubbed her eyebrows and picked up the pencils one by one from the floor, setting them aside. Just as she was about to take out Meimei’s sketchbook, she heard a faint rustling behind her.
Raising her head, she saw that the little girl, who had been sleeping peacefully, had kicked off the blanket.
Ye Mingmei stood up from in front of the wardrobe, walked back to the bed, and gently covered Meimei with the blanket.
Looking at her daughter’s sweet, delicate face, her eyes flickered with hesitation about whether to look at her sketchbook.
Though Meimei was only three years old, even a child might have her privacy. Seeing how Meimei hid even her drawing in the wardrobe, it was clear she didn’t want others to see it.
