Ye Mingmei was taken aback and immediately turned around. Her first reaction wasn’t to look at the main door but at the wall.
She always felt like there was something hidden there.
"What are you looking at, so captivated?" Qin Youxuan walked in from outside, noticing that Ye Mingmei’s gaze wasn’t on her, and raised an eyebrow, puzzled.
She followed Ye Mingmei’s gaze.
She worried that Ye Mingmei hadn’t fully awakened, afraid to disturb her, so she tread lightly, not expecting to find Ye Mingmei in a daze.
"Sis, you’re here. I was just looking at the mural on the wall; it’s a bit special, so I looked at it a bit longer, nothing more." Ye Mingmei gathered her thoughts, noticing Qin Youxuan entering from the door, realizing she was overthinking again.
The nurse had already explained that it was just a wall with a unique mural, making it seem like a door; yet strangely, she had an indescribable feeling.
"Is it special?" Qin Youxuan stepped forward, smiling as she took the soundly sleeping little one from her hands.
"This is your first time here. Diwu Zexuan, I don’t know what he’s thinking, but almost every room has a mural like this. At first, I thought like you, that there might be another door. I couldn’t resist trying to see if it could open, only to realize later I was overthinking."
Qin Youxuan placed the little one in an incubator nearby before sitting by the bedside.
