"Miss Ye, your health is no longer an issue; you can be discharged at any time." The nurse respectfully reminded Ye Mingmei, after packing her belongings.
"Okay, I understand, thank you."
Ye Mingmei changed into her own clothes, finally taking off the blue and white hospital gown she was sick of wearing. She felt like she was alive again, and a smile spread across her face.
"Miss Ye, you have quite a lot of stuff. Do you need me to call and inform your family?" The nurse looked at the room, seeing only Ye Mingmei, and asked a bit worriedly.
"No need, they’re all busy. I’m fully recovered; taking a taxi home is no problem for me. Don’t worry." Ye Mingmei said, pulling out her phone to call the Ye family driver, then picked up the luggage the nurse had packed for her and headed downstairs.
Exiting the hospital gate, she placed the suitcase by the roadside to wait for the car.
